BOHINJ
Lake Bohinj (BO-HEEN)
As one arrives from Bled. It is about 15 miles from Bled...worth it. Natural. Not a tourist trap. (Tourists go to Bled, Slovenians go to Bohinj.)

Near the lake entrance and a nearby church on the lake.

Far end of the lake. Easy 3-4 mile drive along the lake.



On the way up the mountain overlooking Lake Bohinj in the neat cable car. Takes you to an altitude of 6000 feet; a place called the Vogel Ski area.
