Bill PecjakJr Note re: Edward Hocevar - Mar 2014
------------------------------------------------
I just looked at the Tomsic line, and forgot Eddie Hocevar. He was a good guy. He was a meat cutter too, like Uncle Tony. He worked at Cimperman's market which was on E.60th st and was Azman's competition, as well as Malenshek's market which was just down the street from cimpermans. Malenshek used to call himself the neighborhood klobase king, and Cimperman's was just average sausages....nothing to brag about.

MORE on Hocevars from Bill Azman Jr. - Mar 2014
-----------------------------------------------
Anton Tomsic, our grandfather's sister is Aunt Fannie(Frances), who married Frank Hocevar. I think he died early because I don't remember seeing him on the farm on Rt. 166 off of Rt. 534 in Harpersfield. Their son Frank Hocevar Jr. (lets call him) was my father's best friend, and my mother's cousin. The whole Azman-Tomsic thing started when grandpa Tomsic wanted to sell his Mervar button box, and Frank Jr bought it. Well as it was, my Dad went with him to Tomsic's house with Frank....and that's when my mother saw him, but didn't meet him...I think Ma said she was 12 at that time.
However, Ma told me that Frank Jr told her he had a tall, dark-haired handsome gentleman for her to meet, (!!!) and introduced her to his best friend Bill Azman.

My father told me that Mr Tomsic knew Mr Azman thru the meat business and Mr Tomsic would borrow Mr Azman's big cars when ever they needed one for baptisms or communions or somethings like that, when they had the business on E . 185th st.
If I have it right, Frances Hocevar, Frank Jr's sister, married Jimmy Jerina. One of Jimmy and Fran's kids now own the farm on Rt. 166. I think they had 3 or 4 kids.

I DO think that Kenny & Clarence are the same person, Just tried an obit search in the PD, but no luck. His wife's name was Anne, and they have a son, Joey Tomsick, who has a polka band, the Joey Tomsick Orchestra. I am thinking Kenny died last year; his wife not long before. Not sure about living in Cleveland - I know mom had some relatives in Pennsylvania. The 'Adolph' rings a hell....not sure about 'Florence'.

Joey Tomsick Orchestra has a website - I clicked on the FB link, but nothing there. And the Tomsicks were friends of the Hocevars.

Ruthie, I am guessing, was Ruthie Hocevar, married to Ed Hocevar.
